This series primarily contains general summaries of taxes and tax calendars. The summary includes the authority, basis of tax, rate, exemption, and return and payment by name of tax. The calendar of returns and payments gives the due date in chronological order of tax activities. Later issues also contain a directory of the Department; a directory of field division district offices, including a map; a revenue distribution schedule; and an index to tax summaries. The 1956 summary is an oversized chart, and the 1932 publication is only a large calendar.
